   Now’s the football season - if he watches football, make him a tv-watching box of stuff. Get a mini-keg of Heineken or whatever. Put in some slippers, a remote-control holder, beer mug that gets cold in the freezer, some peanuts and beef jerky, and maybe a t-shirt for his favorite team. I think it would be a waste of money these days to buy something (like the blow-up doll) that will be thrown to the back of the closet. Get him stuff he will use and appreciate.
